Vodka Sauce
- 10 chopped Plum Tomatoes
- 40 cloves of Garlic, smashed and chopped
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- 1/2 cup Vodka
- 1 quart Heavy Cream
- 2 cups Marinara
- Handful Basil, ripped up
- Grated Cheese
- Coat the bottom of a pot with Olive Oil and heat on high until oil shimmers.
- Add Salt, Pepper and Oregano to the Tomatoes and mix well.
- Add Garlic to the pot. When Garlic has browned, add Tomatoes, and boil for 15 mins.
- Add Vodka and stir well. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
- Add Heavy Cream, stir well. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
- Add Marinara, stir well, lower heat to medium. Add basil, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- If serving immediately, add a handful of Grated Cheese. If not, allow to cool and refrigerate, but add the Grated Cheese when you warm it back up.
