Matzo Crack
- One cup of Butter
- One cup of Brown Sugar (packed)
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 6 or so pieces of Matzo
- 1 bag of Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Melt butter and sugar in a pan on medium heat. Let boil for 5 mins.
- Line two baking sheets with foil.
- Arrange matzo on the baking sheets, using smaller pieces to fill in all spaces
- Spoon butter and sugar onto the matzo, covering everything completely
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until nice and bubbly. Be sure not to burn them!
- Take out of the oven, and sprinkle chocolate chips onto the matzos.
- Once the chocolate starts to melt, spread with a spoon.
- Sprinkle with toasted coconut, almonds, walnuts, kosher salt – whatever you like.
- Refrigerate for ten minutes.
- Crack them up into small pieces.
- Store in a zip lock bag in the refrigerator.
